Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located in the heart of Hanover, PA, Aki offers an authentic Japanese dining experience that has quickly become a local favorite. Specializing in fresh, handcrafted sushi and traditional hibachi dishes, Aki masterfully blends classic techniques with inventive flavors that delight every palate.

The menu boasts an impressive selection of rolls and hand rolls, each crafted with quality ingredients that sing with freshness. From the crisp, creamy California Roll featuring crabmeat, cucumber, and avocado, to the indulgent King Crab California Roll that elevates familiar flavors into something extraordinary, every bite is a testament to the chef’s skill. Don’t miss the Aki Roll—a signature masterpiece combining white tuna, banana tempura, spicy kani, shrimp tempura, and a luscious drizzle of eel and spicy sauces, creating a perfect balance of textures and heat that bursts with bold flavor. For those seeking variety, the Victoria Roll’s vibrant layers of spicy tuna topped with salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and tobiko create a sophisticated yet approachable treat.

Beyond sushi, Aki’s hibachi menu shines, particularly for families with children. The Hibachi Chicken and Hibachi Salmon provide tender, savory options that come alive with freshly grilled perfection and a side of theatrical flair, enhancing every meal with a warm sense of occasion.

Walking into Aki, guests are greeted by a clean, inviting atmosphere that complements the thoughtful attention paid to the food. The service is consistently praised for its attentiveness and friendliness, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience whether you choose to relax in the dining room or opt for convenient takeout.

Regular guests frequently celebrate the combination of high-quality ingredients and reasonable prices, making Aki not just a spot for special occasions but a reliable go-to for everyday cravings. As Luke Nixon said, having visited sushi spots across the country, he found Aki’s offerings to be among the very best — worth every penny for the freshness and flavor. Likewise, the vibrant, welcoming service and the consistently delicious dishes have made fans like Olivia Hoffman eager to return and explore the full hibachi menu.

Whether you are a sushi connoisseur or new to Japanese cuisine, Aki promises an immersive and satisfying dining journey. Their commitment to quality, variety, and impeccable service sets them apart as a cornerstone of Hanover’s culinary scene. Plan a visit to enjoy expertly crafted sushi rolls, hearty hibachi meals, and a taste experience that lingers long after the last bite.

I have been to Sushi joints across the US. Big name ones as well. Hands absolutely down, AKI has some of the best Sushi out there! It is worth every penny. Not too mention their other food is amazing as well. The service is outstanding and the place is very clean. Take out or dine-in are both good choices. I highly recommend a visit here!

This was my first time coming here and it won't be my last!! Our server was amazing and so speedy!! The food was very good and well made too. We sat in the dinning section, but I definitely plan on coming back to try the hibachi section. It is sort of pricy, but it is good quality food, so I think it evens out! I enjoyed my time!

Our family comes here a lot! We love the food and it's all priced perfectly. Our family of 5 can eat for about $90 - $100 and the sushi is great quality! They have a great menu with plenty verity of drinks and teas. The only thing we don't t like as much is their consistency of hibachi chefs. There are a couple solid chefs who know how to interact well with the guest's. Most other chefs don't interact as well and you can catch the vibe before they come to the table. Food is great regardless... Choose between Steak, Filet, salmon, lobster, scallops, shrimp and lamb. Did I mention I love their sushi here?

The Hibachi is excellent and such a fun experience. Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Lobster, Lamb, Filet, Scallops, and more with fried rice, white rice, or noodles and vegetables. They also have an extensive sushi selection you can order in the dining room, in the Hibachi room, or at a sushi counter. You can buy a whole roll, a platter, or by the piece ($3 each). The shrimp shumai was delicious! The caramelized pear hot tea was yummy. They even have kids portions and desserts. I highly recommend for any special occassion.
